Dear Families, 

Happy last day of school!  This school year has been like no other! 

I wanted to resend these reminders as you head into the weekend: 

  • Picking up and dropping off student belongings: We’ll be doing a drive-thru system in the school bus loop for you to drop off musical instruments, safety patrol belts and library books and to pick up belongings of your students.  Please remember to follow CDC guidelines.  If you are walking to the school, please maintain six feet of distance between other families.  The schedule is below: 

  • Monday, June 15th: 8:30am-10:30am 

  • Tuesday, June 16th: 10:00am-12:00pm 

  • Wednesday, June 17th: 12:00pm-2:00pm 

  • Thursday, June 18th: 4:00pm-6:00pm 

  • Friday, June 19th: 2:00pm-4:00pm 

  • Summer Reading Challenge: This summer we’ll be having a summer reading challenge with students being able to earn virtual star cards for reading a certain number of minutes a week on MyOn or if you don’t have access to MyOn we will provide a paper copy for you to track and a way to report your child’s reading.  All student readers who meet the goal for the week will be highlighted in my weekly newsletter and on the school website.  We will also have a “Reader of the Week” on our facebook page with parental permission.  The flyer for the summer reading challenge is attached: Neabsco Summer Reading challenge.pdf  Here are our goals: 

  • Rising Star:  100 minutes a week  -  5 virtual star cards 

  • Super Star:  150 + minutes a week - 10 virtual star cards 

  • Year End Report Cards: Year end report card grades will be available in ParentVUE on June 22nd.  Please don’t forget to make sure you have an email address to create a ParentVUE account.  If you would like your child’s report card emailed to you or would like to request a paper copy, please email our school registrar, Ms. Patricia Klenner at
