Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration is starting soon. If your child turns 5 before September 30, 2012 then he/she is eligible to begin Kindergarten in the 2012-2013 school year. The dates are Thursday April 12 and Thursday April 26 and from 9:00 - 3:00. For more information about what you need for registration click here.
Jumpe Rope for Heart
February is American Heart Month. In celebration, we are participating in Jump Rope for Heart throughout the month of January and early February. JR4H raises money for the American Heart Association to help people with heart disease and stroke. This year, we are raising money in honor of one of our own students, Nicole Lumpkin. Nicole was born with a heart condition called aortic valve stenosis, and she recently had surgery last January. Please help us raise money to help Nicole and others with heart problems.
We will celebrate the money we raise by jumping rope in PE on February 6th. Parents are welcome to visit and/or participate during our celebration. Check out Neabsco’s website to find out when your child has PE. Please read through the JR4H packets when they are sent home and discuss with your child how you want to raise the money. Raising money online is the easiest method and often raising the most money. Visit www.americanheart.org/jump to get started!

MY LUNCH MONEY
The mylunchmoney.com service for prepayments into school cafeteria accounts will not be available after June 10, 2011 for this school year. Parents can fund the account with cash or check if needed. Parents using the Smart Pay option should turn off the smart pay option prior to June 10th so a payment is not generated at the end of the school year. Parents can fund the account with cash or check if needed. Students graduating or moving from Prince William County will no longer be active in the food service program and their account balances will not be updated in mylunchmoney.com.
Students attending Prince William County Schools next year will have their Cafeteria account balances available. However Parents should update their students’ information in their mylunchmoney.com accounts, for example a change in school location or grade level.
The MyLunchMoney.com service will be available again on August 22, 2011.
